Regular Savings Account

Account Benefits: Upon request, may be used as an Overdraft Sweep account tied to a checking account. Statements are sent quarterly or a combined statement is available with your monthly checking account statement upon request.

Monthly Service Charge Waived If: The account holder is under 18 years of age. Minimum daily balance of $250.00 is maintained per calendar month.

Other Charges: An excessive withdrawal charge of $1.00 will be assessed for each debit in excess of six (6) per calendar month. A closing fee of $10.00 will be assessed if the account is closed within ninety (90) days of opening.

Interest: This account is an interest-bearing account, the interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time. Interest will be compounded quarterly and will be credited to the account quarterly. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of non-cash items (for example, checks).

Limitations: A maximum of six (6) telephone, preauthorized or electronic transfers can be made from the account each calendar month. You must maintain a minimum balance of $5.00 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield.

Monthly Service Charge Waived If: A minimum daily balance of $1,500 is maintained during the monthly statement period.

Other Charges: An excessive withdrawal charge of $1.00 will be assessed for each debit in excess of six (6) per monthly statement period.

Interest: This account is an interest-bearing account. The interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time. Interest will be compounded daily and will be credited to the account monthly. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of non-cash items (for example, checks).

Limitations: Transfers from the account to another account or to third parties by checks, pre-authorized, electronic or telephone transfer are limited to six (6) per monthly statement period.

Christmas Club Savings Account

An interest-bearing account that matures at the end of October each calendar year. The Skagit Bank Christmas Club Savings Account allows you to save up all year for those special end-of-year purchases.

An Automatic Transfer Authorization must be set up at account opening. Automatic transfer may be from a designated Skagit Bank account or ACH transfer from an account at another Financial Institution. Once set up, Christmas Club Savings accounts will not require renewal each year and continue without interruption until revoked by you.

Other Charges: An excessive withdrawal charge of $1.00 will be assessed for each debit in excess of six (6) per calendar month. Additionally if the account is closed, a closing fee of $5.00 will be assessed and the accrued interest is forfeited. A grace period of 30 days after annual disbursement (until December 1st) will be allowed for closure without fee.

Interest will be compounded quarterly and will be credited to the account annually. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of non-cash items (for example, checks).

Account Benefits: The interest rate and annual percentage yield will not change for the term of the account. Additional deposits may be made to short-term TCDs less than or equal to six (6) months. This account will automatically renew. The account holder has ten (10) calendar days after maturity date to withdraw funds without penalty. If you do not withdraw the funds, each renewal term will be for an identical period of time as the original term.

Other Charges: For maturities less than or equal to one (1) year: If you withdraw any of the principal before the maturity date, we may impose a penalty of thirty (30) days of interest. For maturities greater than one (1) year: If you withdraw any of the principal before the maturity date, we may impose a penalty of ninety (90) days of interest.

Interest: This account is an interest-bearing account. Interest is compounded daily and will be credited monthly. Interest on your account will be credited by adding the interest to the principal. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of non-cash items (for example, checks).

Limitations: Withdrawals from the account may not be made until the maturity date.

Additional contributions may be made to short term IRAs less than six (6) months, within maximum contribution limits. In the event of an early withdrawal, if you are 59-1/2 years of age or older, no early withdrawal penalties will be assessed. This account will automatically renew. The account holder has ten (10) calendar days after maturity date to withdraw funds without penalty. If you do not withdraw the funds, each renewal term will be for an identical period of time as the original term.
